Corporate Social Responsibility

TReCC experience in Environmental Studies, has enabled a broad reflection on the concept of Sustainable Development, that today constituting a solid pillar of our organization.
Sistematically working on this concept also required us to meditate about our own way of producing, and the impacts generated by our actions in our society, and in our inter-organizational dynamics.

Thus, to lead a responsible value chain in front of our production, we have implemented the following:

  • Responsible consumption
    • Our experience in the environmental field help us in subscribing to responsible consumption principles as well as in our internal processes and as criteria in the selection of the suppliers we work with.
  • A more “awarness” production
    • We differentiated internal waste disposal, from a daily awareness and cultural change, making compost of our stable organic waste, reused in our own garden, and delivery of waste classified as feedback circuits, recycled from agreements with workers in cooperatives.

  • Free Information
    • Issuance of open courses. We promote the free dissemination of knowledge, sharing several activities joint with one of the local environmental chambers: CEMA (Cámara Empresaria de Medio Ambiente). Also, we support free and institutionalized development of research projects in different topics related to sustainable environment, offering to the community the result of our R&D actions. It is highlighted the participation in gvSIG project (GIS, free licence software) and Blender3d (3D modelling, free licence software) programming apps, about impact to exposition at sun's radiation over buildings.
  • UN Global Compact
    • We have subscribed and supported the Global Compact and its principles (https://www.unglobalcompact.org/).

These actions are not exhaustive; we are always open to proposals to adopt new and best practices, as a way of reinforcing our organizational culture, seeking for continuous improvement.
